Tena koutou ROI families,
Due to the guidelines in place for Covid-19, Royal Oak Intermediate School Camp for the Year 7 students 2020 has been postponed. It was scheduled to run the week of May 11th to May 15th. The Year 8 students were not attending camp this year.
At this stage we are unsure of exactly when camp will be rescheduled. It could be later this year or possibly moved to 2021. We are staying up-to-date with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health guidelines around this, as well as communicating with CYC Camp in Ngaruawahia around our next steps. We will inform you as soon as a decision has been reached on Camp 2020.
A few important points for you all,
- Any of the cost that you may have paid toward Camp 2020 is currently in your child’s school account.
- If Camp 2020 does not go ahead this year, this money can remain in your child’s school account or be refunded to you via internet banking upon request.
- If Camp 2020 does go ahead at a later stage this year and you do not wish for your child to attend, you can contact us and request the money to stay in your child’s account or be refunded to you.
- If you urgently require a refund of the fees you’ve paid for Camp 2020, please contact me via email email@example.com or phone 020-401-889-85 and we will endeavor to get this money to you as quickly as possible.
Please feel free to reach out to myself and the Royal Oak Intermediate School whanau for any assistance you may need.
Nga mihi nui,
Barry O’ Halloran
