Welcome to Royal Oak Intermediate

Royal Oak Intermediate School is a great school on the edge of the Manukau Estuary. Built on the site of the first Zoo in Auckland, the school has faithfully served the South Central Auckland region of Onehunga, Royal Oak and Mangere Bridge for many years. This community brings a wealth of cultural diversity into lives of the 530 students who currently attend our school.

Our focus as a school is meeting the individual academic, social, cultural and sporting needs of the emerging adolescent in a modern school environment.
