Royal Oak Intermediate School

Welcome to Royal Oak Intermediate

Royal Oak Intermediate School is a great school on the edge of the Manukau estuary. Built on the site of the first zoo in Auckland, the School has a fascinating history and has faithfully served the South Central Auckland region of Onehunga, Royal Oak and Mangere Bridge for many years. This community brings a wealth of cultural diversity into lives of the 520 students who currently attend our School.

Tone of Assemblies at the end of the year

It was great to see good numbers of families coming to our assemblies, to support their children. The atmosphere was positive and uplifting. There was a degree of formality in these assemblies which was appropriate to the occasion. The student body and the parents extended respect to the award winners and thus honoured  their achievements. It was rewarding to be part of these assemblies.
